Kansas announced Je'Ney Jackson as the new Cornerback Coach. Jackson had been an assistant strength and conditioning coach at KU for the past two years. Mark Mangino had the following comment about the promotion in the Lawrence Journal-World:
"Je'Ney is a high-energy coach with vast knowledge of cornerback play. He will elevate the level of play at that position."
In addition, wide receiver coach Tim Beck was named the passing-game coordinator.
