1) The Lions beat Northwestern St. last year 31-24 last year. KU opened against Northwestern St. with a 49-18 win last year in Lawrence. The Lions also lost at Texas Tech last year 62-0. 2) Senior QB Seth Rabin threw for 325 yards in last year's final game against Sam Houston St. (23-28 loss). He was 34 for 63 and threw two TD passes. The longest completion of the day -- 19 yards! 3) The Lions play at Strawberry Stadium in Hammond, Louisiana built in 1936. Capacity is 7,400.
