KU Gets a Vote in the AP Poll

Ryan Wood thinks that's as high as we'll go for a while:

"Considering the Jayhawks’ schedule the next three weeks, it’s unlikely they’ll get too many more votes anytime soon, even if they finish the nonconference slate unbeaten."

One thing might change that -- a CMU thrashing of Toledo this weekend. They could also move us up by winning at Purdue the following week. Still, it truly doesn't matter at this point. Until we beat a BCS team, we don't really belong in the poll.
