Big 12 Bowling: How Many Teams Will Be Eligible?

Seven teams are bowl eligible right now in the Big 12 and four teams have five wins. Here's how it breaks down for the five teams under seven wins:

Six wins

  • The Aggies are eligible and host Texas in two weeks. Probably won't be favored. Will the Aggies accept a bowl bid if they don't get #7?

Five wins

  • Nebraska and Colorado face each other in Boulder. The winner is eligible with six wins. The loser is eliminated and gets the Big 12 down to 10 teams.
  • KSU hosts MU, then travels to Fresno State. Outlook not so great for the Cats.
  • Oklahoma State travels to Baylor, then Oklahoma. Six wins practically guaranteed.

Looks like the Big 12 is pretty solid for nine eligible teams.
