Another Blog Preview ... Same Old Song and Dance

Played an easy schedule in 2007, got lucky, can't compete in the Big 12, really Nebraska is still better than KU, probably won't even be able to have somebody line up at left tackle, Missouri wins the Super Bowl, etc.

Glad you sent the link though. I needed a topic for the day.

Personally, I think KU is going to compete for the Big 12. And I would welcome it.

Most of my picks are fairly conservative, but I think Reesing, Mangino, and the offense is stacked enough to overcome. I think they only realistically drop one of the big three games in conference (OU, UT, Mizzou) but the USF game concerns me simply because it's a road game. You'll never find me lauding Missouri. Ever.

Thanks for the linkage.

Yeah, I'm feeling more and more like I want to win that USF game. Maybe that will tame the the critics ... but we know from last year that it won't.

Tech isn't a big game?

Yep, Tech is big. Especially, if they come in 7-0 which is very possible-

Plus:

-we haven't played this tough of home game since 2006
-still owe them for the 2004 game
-need the experience playing against that offense for later in the year
