The New Google (Cuil): A KU Football Blog's Take

So www.cuil.com is out this morning, and I had high hopes. The three-column format is awesome, but the font is too large. The result is not enough visible results above the fold. I do like being on page one of the "KU football" search though.

Hey DJ, just wanted to know if you heard what our new beat writer had to say about our chances in Norman. He said our best chance to beat OU is "For Chase Daniel to transfer to KU before the game on October 18th". I had no problem giving this guy a chance, even though he was a Mizzou reporter, but Todd Reesing is as big a reason as anyone for the culture change thats been going on. I dont think we as Jayhawks or Kansans should accept this kind of talk from our own reporters. Besides, Daniel is 0-3 against Mizzou, and two of the games he was blown out. I think he is probably the last guy we want to QB for us on 10/18. Here's the link.

You know I didn't catch that. I've only listened to a few episodes of the Spodcasters over the years. It was always a little too time consuming versus real content.

However, to your point. Yes, with three straight losses to OU, I can't think of any good reason to want Chase Daniel at the helm instead of Todd Reesing. Maybe the fourth time would be a charm for CD, but I wouldn't trade the Rocket for any QB in the nation. Look at his starting record (12-1). He played one bad half all year.

If people want to claim that Daniel is the better QB, I'll let them go with that for now since Chase has the head-to-head win, but we'll see if Todd wants to correct that perception on November 29.
